Description
Vegetable tanning is the slow way to make leather — it takes weeks rather than days — but it produces a hide that deepens in colour and hardens slightly with wear, becoming more itself over time. This belt will outlast several wardrobes if it is looked after.
A single piece of full-grain leather, 35mm wide, with a solid brass pin buckle. The edges are hand-burnished and waxed. Available in natural tan (lightens with sunlight, darkens with wear) and dark chocolate (starts dark, develops a rich patina).
